The program modules incorporate an introduction to the industry, case management liability, compensation benefits, public liability, CTP, injury management and return to work, analysis of relevant legislation and the key cultural changes in industry over recent years.

We look at best practice injury management and return to work methodology and put these to practice with realistic examples and activities. The workshops enable students to work with others to learn practical skills and knowledge.

This cornerstone qualification is for those already in the industry who are wanting to sharpen their skills and further advance a career in the Workers Compensation, Case Management, Return to Work, Compulsory Third Party, and Personal Injury Management sectors.

  • Online self-paced learning, purely done online at times that suits the individual learner.

Course Assessment

To achieve the FNS42115 Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management learners will need to be found competent in 13 required units of competency, including 3 core units and 10 elective units. There are 9 assessment tasks. 3 Theory Assessments, 5 Simulated Assessments and 2 Roleplay Assessments.

A unique aspect of our program is the simulated files that we introduce at various stages of the course. The files are mock examples of real life scenarios and we take the students through the general life cycle of a personal injury claim from file set up to file resolution. The files contribute a practical component to our assessment process.

Once completed and submitted a Procare Group assessor will assess the submission and send the learner the corresponding feedback.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning is for those who hold relevant qualifications, have completed relevant training courses and or have current sufficient industry experience.

Prices vary depending on the RPL outcome. The initial RPL assessment fee is $200, the remaining price will be confirmed after the assessment of your evidence, depending on if you are granted full RPL or partial RPL.
