In stifling heat the 2016 ACT Charity Cricket Day was again a huge success, with close to $9,000 being raised for Woden Community Service.

Thank you to Michael Ross from QBE and Michael Whyte from Marsh who assisted in getting Woden Community Service as the charity for the 2016 event. The highlight of the day was all teams gathering around during the lunch break to hear from Woden Community Service CEO Chris Redmond talk about the organisation and the impact they have on the community.

The Moray & Agnew team were the victors on the day, taking out the grand final in a keenly fought game against QBE.

Thanks also to all the teams and supporters on the day, with teams and players from CGU, GIO, Guild, Capital Wealth, Marsh, Curwoods Lawyers, Hicksons Lawyers, and of course Procare. And finally thanks also go out to the ACT Brumbies who kindly donated the major raffle prize on the day.

Onto a bigger and better event in 2017. Keep November 10th 2017 free, and watch this space for more details.
